Bacolod City is first in a list of top 20 best places to live in the Philippines, according to a recent survey conducted by the magazine Moneysense. The survey was based on three components: standard of living, quality of life, and cost of living.
Other cities on the top 5 are: Makati (2); Davao (3); Marikina (4) and Iloilo (5). There’s more, including an explanation from the editors on the Moneysense blog.

Bacolod is always close to my heart. It brings many memories about home, family and classmates that I recently meet during our sapphire jubilee. I think that is the reason why we Bacolod are sometimes called the cityof smile “gina pala any cuarta” hehehe (just kidding)

Grew up in Payao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, graduated high school in La Consolacion College. I’m not surprise Bacolod to be considered as #1 city. People who took care of the city must be congratulated for the job well done. great blog, q-bits. . .
